Opening the door for collaboration

Members share expert insights, exchange ideas, and brainstorm solutions

The Business Analytics and Digital Strategy Forum was created due to the ongoing success of the college’s annual Business Analytics Symposium, which is held in Des Moines, Iowa. The symposium, Iowa’s premier analytics event, brings together thought leaders and analytics professionals from some of the nation’s leading insurance, financial services, marketing, and manufacturing companies. The symposium opened the door for collaboration among business and industry experts throughout the Midwest.

The forum provides an exciting opportunity to connect industry leaders with our talented faculty and students, sparking real-world projects, scholarships, and dynamic collaborations.

Opportunities for involvement

Members serve as partners in research and professional development opportunities

Opportunities for involvement occur in many ways, including:

  • Annual Ivy Business Analytics Symposium.
  • Programs and opportunities to help members to upskill interested employees.
  • Thought leadership for emerging issues in business analytics and digital technology.

Forum membership commitment

We aim to be your partner on a broad range of business challenges while addressing strategic issues and solving problems rather than building technical expertise.

The forum is governed by a committee with one representative from each industry participant. This committee meets semiannually to discuss forum activities and business networking. Organizers plan to build the forum with partners from 12-15 organizations, with no direct competition among the group.
