Administrative appointments announced at the Ivy College of Business

  • Valentina-SalottiRaisbeck Endowed Dean Raj Agnihotri announced on August 1 two administrative changes at the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business.

    Valentina Salotti, who previously served as associate dean for undergraduate programs and associate dean for academic affairs, has been named the first senior associate dean for academic affairs. An associate professor of finance, Salotti is responsible for providing strategy and oversight of Ivy’s academic affairs division, including curriculum, student recruitment and enrollment, advising, and career services. Additionally, she supervises the college graduate programs and is the director of the MBA program.

    Mike-HoweMike Howe, professor of management and entrepreneurship, has been appointed as the interim associate dean for undergraduate programs. Howe oversees undergraduate student services, undergraduate career services, study abroad programs, and the Ivy Writing and Speaking Center. He will also be responsible for undergraduate assessment of learning efforts. Howe previously served as associate chair of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship.

    “I am confident that these changes will greatly benefit our college and help us achieve our ambitious goals,” Agnihotri said.
