Business Analytics Symposium moves to larger venue due to overwhelming attendance
(Des Moines, Iowa) — “It’s back and it’s bigger than ever,” said Raisbeck Endowed Dean David Spalding, speaking about the annual Business Analytics Symposium hosted by the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business.
“This is the premier analytics event in Iowa, and it has sold out quickly the past three years,” Spalding said. “People were genuinely upset when they learned it had sold out so fast. For that reason, we are moving this event to the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center, Iowa Events Center in Des Moines.”
The Business Analytics Symposium is designed for professionals in the field of analytics who work in finance, insurance, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and transportation. Participants will be immersed in high-quality information that is sure to benefit careers of all levels.
This year’s symposium features a great line up of speakers on the cutting edge of analytics, with more than 30 breakout sessions across eight tracks. Best-selling author and former Google data scientist Seth Stephens-Davidowitz will deliver the morning keynote address, and cyber security expert John Sileo will give the closing keynote.
