The Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business part-time MBA program is the best MBA program in Des Moines, according to an annual poll taken by readers of the Des Moines Business Record.

Each year, the Business Record asks readers to select the “best of” in many categories, including CEO, MBA program, company to work for, and other categories. The Ivy MBA reached the top vote for the second year in a row.

“Here at the Ivy College of Business, we could not be more excited to receive this recognition for our MBA program again,” said Raisbeck Endowed Dean David Spalding. “This validates the respect our program is receiving and that the Des Moines area community understands that ours is a high quality MBA program.”

The Ivy MBA program is offered at Capital Square in downtown Des Moines. It is perfect for working professionals who are ready to advance their career without having to go back to school full-time. The same internationally known faculty who teach the full-time MBA program on the Iowa State University campus in Ames also teach the Ivy MBA program in Des Moines.

“We offer a high quality program for professionals who seek career advancement in about two years,” Spalding said.

About the Ivy MBA in Des Moines:

In today’s business environment, teamwork is essential to success. While other schools are eliminating their in-person MBA programs, the Iowa State program builds the team concept into the core curriculum, giving students the opportunity to get experience leading a group and capitalizing on student strengths. Diverse student teams are determined for each entering cohort and are maintained throughout the five-semester core curriculum.

The part-time MBA program, which began in 1999, consists of 10 core courses (30 credits) and six elective courses (18 credits). While students can start the program in the spring, summer, or fall, they progress through the core curriculum as a cohort starting in the fall semester.
