On December 3, 2025, the Ivy College of Business Career Services (BCS) staff hosted Ivy CYning Day. Held each semester, CYning Day is a half-day celebration of student achievement, with complimentary snacks and drinks. The event provided students with a unique opportunity to celebrate the signing of their internship or full-time job offers.
Jillian Scroggs, a business analytics and supply chain management student from Ankeny, Iowa, said, “Business Career Services and all of the resources they provide played an important role in my search for an internship. CYning Day was a great opportunity to celebrate all of the work that I put into the internship search alongside my peers. We all did so much to get to the point of signing an offer, and so it was a fun way to see each other’s hard work pay off.”
Students had their photos taken with signs highlighting their acceptance and fun props tied to the event’s theme. The photos were sent to students following the event. BCS staff members encouraged students to post their news on LinkedIn using the hashtag #CYningDay.
This event is one of many ways Ivy’s BCS office uplifts students and fosters opportunities for success. The BCS team equips them with the skills, knowledge, and resources needed for career growth and helps them build connections with employers. Students are encouraged to engage with the staff and discover the many ways BCS can enrich their Ivy experience.
