Earn your Ivy College of Business master of science in information systems (MSIS) degree at the same time you’re earning your bachelor of management information systems (MIS) degree at Iowa State University through our concurrent programs. See the application instructions below. All other applicants will follow the standard application process.

The master of science in information systems program gives you the tools you need to take your career to the next level. As an MSIS student, you will learn how to bridge the gap between business and technology — solving business problems using cutting-edge IT solutions.

Graduates of our program are bilingual in IT and business and are highly sought after by employers. This concurrent program is designed to be completed in five academic years, with four years of undergraduate coursework followed by one year of information systems studies alongside the remaining undergraduate courses.

Admission to the concurrent program is competitive. Successful candidates demonstrate superior academic ability, strong leadership attributes, and clear career focus.

Admitted students typically have a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
