Master of Real Estate Development

First in the Midwest! Whether you’re in the market for a promotion, looking to hone your skills, or pick up some new ones, the Ivy master of real estate development (MRED) program is the place to accelerate your career. Geared toward working professionals, our program is the first of its kind and is perfect for anyone looking to pursue a career in real estate, including: city planners, architects, finance specialists, real estate agents, commercial realtors, building professionals, and industry investors.

Our interdisciplinary program is a collaboration with Iowa State University’s nationally ranked College of Design and features:

  • Online courses and on-campus residencies
  • Capstone project driven by your interests
  • Continuing education credits accepted by the Iowa Real Estate Commission

Mostly online, with one week-long, in-person session each August and one week-long, in-person capstone course workshop in May before graduation

The MRED program is a hybrid program with online coursework and an on-campus residency component. Since most of its course work is online, an international student, upon admittance, cannot obtain an I-20 in anticipation of receiving a student visa.
