Bio

Gwen Friedow is a business and brand strategist dedicated to helping good things grow. She returned home to Iowa and formed her firm, Gwen Friedow Consulting, LLC, in 2020. She previously served as Chief Strategy Officer of SCC – an award-winning integrated marketing agency in Chicago – where she consulted with leading brands in the food, wellness, industrial, and entertainment industries. Gwen has a B.A. in journalism from Iowa State University and an MBA from Southern Methodist University. She also owns and manages her family farm in northern Iowa. Gwen began teaching at ISU in Spring 2023, focused on Brand Management and New Product Marketing.
