Chevron Case Competition

February 26 @ 8:00 am 4:30 pm CST

Group photo of case competition participants and judges outside the Kingland Hub.The Ivy College of Business is pleased to host the second Chevron Case Competition, February 19-26 in the Gerdin Business Building.

Open to all Ivy undergraduates, the challenge asks students to think critically about what investments and commercial decisions Chevron should make to further reduce greenhouse gas emissions in its renewable fuels production, while also generating return for stakeholders.

At Ivy, we are committed to empowering students to address real-world challenges with creative and impactful solutions. In this case competition, teams will have one week to work on the case and prepare a set of strategic recommendations based on research and analysis. You’ll then present your recommendations to Ivy faculty and Chevron leaders on February 26.

It’s a great opportunity to:

  • apply your knowledge.
  • gain valuable experience.
  • connect with industry leaders.
  • win scholarships and other prizes.

Registration and team formation

The case competition is open to undergraduate students in the Ivy College of Business. Space is limited to 60 students. Register as a team (up to four members) or individually, in which case we’ll pair you with other students to create a team of four. If you are registering as a team of four, your team only needs to register once.

Registration is now closed for this event. The stand-by list is also at capacity.
