Ivy students, faculty, and staff are invited to participate in the fifth annual Building Our Community event from 2:00-3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10.
This is an opportunity for us to learn from each other and to strengthen the Ivy College of Business community. Together, we can identify ways for us to meet our college goal of continuous improvement in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
This year’s conversation will take place virtually, using a platform called Wonder. Each small group will have one facilitator, who will encourage discussion around a common set of questions and themes, such as supporting mental health and wellness and feeling included and empowered in the college. To kick off the conversation, Professor José Rosa will share a few ideas on how building community has always been in the hands and hearts of the people.
These small group conversations give you a chance to talk with others about your experience at the college. We hope the conversations lead to action steps that can be shared with the college’s Diversity Advisory Committee and Raisbeck Endowed Dean David Spalding.
