Ivy College of Business receives national recognition for promotional videos

The Viddy Awards

A video announcing record enrollment at the Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business has received a gold award in the 2025 Viddy Awards, and two others received honorable mention in this international competition. Viddy is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected awards programs in the video industry. There were 50,000 entries from more than 35 countries.

“Every video starts with an idea and a brainstorming session,” said Michele Appelgate, director of marketing and communications. “This truly is a team effort, and I couldn’t be prouder of my colleagues for their ongoing creativity to highlight the great work being done at Ivy.”

The college’s marketing and communications team, led by Appelgate, created and produced the videos. The team includes Emily Bowman, graphic designer; Suzanne Lyndon, event planner; Cindy Robertson, web manager; and Spencer Feinberg, social media specialist. Student interns on the team, Ashley Jensen, Faith Lindenfelser, and Andres Gil Uruburo, assisted.

The Gold Award is awarded to those projects that the judges deem to exceed industry standards.
