Master of Business Administration and Specialized Masters Association

Want to meet others and explore your interests outside of the classroom? Many Ivy graduate students join the Master of Business Administration and Specialized Masters Association (MBASMA), which is designed to allow graduate students in business the opportunity to network with each other and business professionals. The MBASMA creates and pursues opportunities for students to develop the skills and behaviors required in business.

    Message from the MBASMA president

Greetings from the Master of Business Administration and Specialized Master’s Association (MBASMA)! I’m excited to share our organization’s story and our dedication to strengthening students’ networks, advancing professional skills, and supporting personal growth here at ISU.

Over the past year, we’ve hosted more than half a dozen events designed to bring Ivy’s graduate students together while fostering both career readiness and community. Highlights include:

    • A sold-out Educational Wine Event, sponsored by Bill Kalm, MS Industrial Administrative Sciences, 1977.
    • A fall picnic to kick off the semester.
    • Multiple Networking 5010 events designed to build strong professional connections.
    • Planning is already underway for the 4th Annual Spring Gala, which will be hosted by Collins Aerospace.

Looking ahead, MBASMA remains committed to expanding our presence within Ivy and creating even more opportunities for connection and development. We would be grateful for your continued support!

If you’d like to connect with our organization, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at jjlange@iastate.edu.
