Online MBA option at the Ivy College of Business will be available in the fall

The Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business will launch a fully online track to the professional MBA program. The online option becomes available in the fall. Registration is currently open.

The professional MBA is a part-time program where students learn from internationally known faculty while honing real-world business skills like strategic thinking and problem-solving.

“Our program provides working professionals with the flexibility they need to earn their degree while balancing their career and personal responsibilities. The program is fully customizable and allows students to choose between hybrid and online courses to complete their degree at their own pace,” said Raisbeck Endowed Dean David Spalding.

Students in the professional MBA program have the option to take courses fully online or in a hybrid format with one class each week in person at the Ivy College of Business Capital Square location in Des Moines.

For those seeking a flexible, part-time MBA, the highlights of the program include:

  • Designed for working professionals – this 42-credit program is self-paced and can be completed in two to two-and-a-half years
  • Customizable – students can choose to vary their course load to work around work and life priorities
  • Admits year-round (fall, spring, summer)
  • GMAT/GRE scores are not required for admission
  • Affordable – offers highly competitive tuition in the Midwest and beyond

The professional MBA program was established as a track to the MBA program in 1999. The program has been and continues to be, a highly successful program for the Ivy College of Business.
