On April 20, 2018, Xinxue (Shawn) Qu was awarded the Ivy College’s inaugural Outstanding Doctoral Student Research Award. Shawn is an information systems doctoral student in his fourth year. He is the co-author of a paper, “Optimal Market Entry Timing for Successive Generations of Technological Innovations,” accepted for publication in MIS Quarterly, one of the world’s premier business journals. He is also the co-author for a paper under third round review at MISQ. This is Shawn’s second research award. Last year, his research success was recognized by the Research in Excellence Award from the Ivy College of Business.
