2023 External Case Competitions
Two teams of MBA students competed in case competitions in the fall of 2023. One was the National MBA Case Competition in Ethical Leadership hosted by Baylor University, and the other was a strategic case competition hosted by Florida Southern. The Iowa State University MBA team earned first place at Baylor. We are beyond proud of them.

“We had a great team with two second-year MBA students and two first-year MBA students, and what differentiated our team was each person brought unique perspectives and skills to the table,” Stowater said, reflecting on the case competition. “I feel like I am able to problem solve, analyze business problems, and develop recommendations better as a result of my experiences doing case competitions.”
We are sending teams to five additional competitions in spring 2024. We are so appreciative of the college’s support of case competitions that provides our students with experiences where they develop new skills and networks.
