Ashley Woods
Hello everyone!
My name is Ashley Woods, and I am a concurrent MBA student. I really like to be involved here at Iowa State which is why I not only double major in mechanical engineering and Spanish with a minor in sustainability, but I hold four different leadership positions here on campus. I have a love for the environment and a passion for helping implement more clean forms of energy, such as solar, wind, and nuclear. I also have strong communication skills and a desire to lead, which in combination with my engineering bases, is what pushed me to get my MBA and a specialization in leadership. I’ve held several internship experiences in different sectors, such as agriculture, office furniture, and food. This summer I will be working in the construction sector implementing energy sources. On the more personal side, I have a large family. I am a twin and the eldest of eight children. I value time with my younger siblings and try to visit home often.

- Personal hobbies: tennis, volleyball, visiting national parks, just spending time with my friends! I also really enjoy volunteering and that might be through ISU4Promise or Habitat for Humanity.
