Sid Ramsey
Sid Ramsey (’95 MBA) is vice president of strategic business development for UnityPoint Health- Des Moines. In his role as the chief planning and strategy officer, he is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, management of the rural hospital network for UnityPoint Health-Des Moines, medical transportation, and other service lines. UnityPoint Health-Des Moines, an affiliate of UnityPoint Health, is a $1.3B integrated hospital and physician organization comprised of Iowa Methodist Medical Center, Blank Children’s Hospital, Iowa Lutheran Hospital, Methodist West Hospital and its affiliated physician practices. Ramsey is active in community non-profit organizations and is on the board of directors for the Iowa/Nebraska Chapter of the American Red Cross, SafeNet Rx, Operation Downtown and the Taxpayer’s Association of Central Iowa. Ramsey also holds a master’s degree in audiology from the University of Iowa. He lives in Des Moines, Iowa, where he has resided since 1980.
