Bio

Joshua Schumm, MBA, is a Ph.D. candidate majoring in Supply Chain Management. He holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Prior to entering academia, Joshua worked in industry for 15 years, holding leadership positions across small, medium, and large businesses. He worked in many functional areas including purchasing, inventory management, forecasting, operations management, international sourcing, and sales and operations planning. His current research interests fall under the umbrella of transformative supply chain research. Specific topics include obsolescence, supply chain finance, and forced labor in supply chains.
