Bio

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Finance department, and expect to complete my Ph.D. by May 2026. I will be on the 2025-2026 academic job market.

My primary research interests lie in empirical corporate finance, with a focus on firm financing decisions and capital structure dynamics. Broadly, my work explores how firms adjust their capital structure in response to both internal events, such as the exit of large shareholders, and external shocks, including government procurement awards. I also examine how capital markets price these financing decisions and the informational role of trading behavior surrounding corporate events.
