Marla Grubb
Hello everyone!
My name is Marla Grubb (’22 accounting). I am currently in the MACC program. I began my journey at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa, and transferred to Iowa State University in 2020. During my undergraduate program, I was enrolled as a concurrent student in the MACC. I am currently studying for the CPA exam. I work as a graduate assistant for several professors. I had summer internships with Workiva as a client onboarding intern and at Creative Planning (formerly BerganKDV) in audit and tax. In 2021, I took the semester off from classes and worked as an audit intern for Deloitte. I enjoyed working for each company but ultimately decided Deloitte was the best fit for me. I will start as an audit associate in August of 2024 in the Des Moines office.
